For. The. Love. It has been hotter than proverbial Hades in my part of the world and don’t tell me “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.” Whatever it is–it’s wreaking havoc and, to quote Jane Austen, I have been in a “continuous state of inelegance!” Not to suggest that I am ever particularly elegant, but as the mercury rises, I find myself longing for the days when a simple snowflake icon on the weather forecast single-handedly empties the grocery store shelves of bread and milk!
