The Charlotte Business Journal recently featured the outstanding work that Industry Expansion Solutions (IES) is doing in Union County, highlighting manufacturers Greiner Bio-One and Darnel. Greiner Bio-One, a medical and laboratory equipment manufacturer, chose Lean manufacturing services from IES’ broad portfolio of business solutions; the process improvements that the company implemented led to improved safety, efficiency and productivity.
Darnel, a packaging manufacturer, engaged IES to provide Six Sigma Green Belt training. This training equips employees with the tools and knowledge necessary to lead process improvement projects to its managers and front-line supervisors. IES continues to provide support to Darnel as its Lean Six Sigma team prepares for official certification.
