Bio
Wendy provides leadership to a team of professional staff in noncredit, professional development programs, regulatory and compliance EHS training and instructional design services for NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES) and other stakeholders. She also provides leadership oversight of the Minerals Research Laboratory in Asheville, NC. Wendy identifies and responds to strategic opportunities to meet regional and state-wide learning needs and provides comprehensive oversight of professional learning and manufacturing outreach programs through development, marketing, implementation, and evaluation. In addition to leading adult education programs, Wendy has worked in the manufacturing industry and the extension services field for more than 30 years in various capacities. Wendy has a B.S. in industrial engineering and a Masters in industrial engineering from NC State University.
