Bio
Michelle Daniels serves as the Executive Assistant to both the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director of NC State University’s Industry Extension Services (IES). In this role, she provides strategic administrative support to the executive office and manages logistics for the IES Advisory Board and core leadership team, and serves as the project coordinator for the SMARTER NC program. Additionally, Michelle oversees stakeholder and partner management for the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP).
Prior to joining IES, Michelle served with the New York City Department of Buildings as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner for the Bureau of Enforcement, following a role as Office Coordinator and Assistant to the Borough Commissioner at the Development HUB.
Michelle is currently pursuing a Master’s in Criminal Justice and a Graduate Certificate in Security Studies at East Carolina University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication and Managerial Skills from NC State and earned both her Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science in Law and Paralegal Studies from CUNY City Tech. In her free time, Michelle enjoys nature walks and spending time with family.
