Bio
Brian is an instructional designer and cyber expert in the professional learning and instructional design unit for NC State University Industry Extension Services (IES), providing training services along with managing all cyber security-related projects. Brian has been an adult educator, cyber consultant, trainer and instructional designer for more than 15 years. Brian has taught a variety of certification and professional development courses at the collegiate level and in collaboration with the United States government. Brian is certified in CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud Essentials and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) - Registered Practitioner. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, AWS Solutions Architect and an AWS Cloud Practitioner. Brian is also a graduate of NC State University, earning an M.S. in Adult Education Training and Development. Outside of work, Brian enjoys hiking, sports and spending time with his family.
