Course Description:
This interactive virtual workshop prepares experienced ISO 9001 internal auditors to audit the new and revised requirements of ISO 9001:2026. Participants will receive a review of the changes from ISO 9001:2015 and explore what those changes mean from an internal auditor’s perspective.
The course emphasizes practical application. Through guided exercises and scenarios, participants will identify appropriate objective evidence and evaluate situations as conforming, nonconforming, or opportunities for improvement. Transition expectations for organizations currently certified to ISO 9001:2015 will also be discussed.
A digital participant workbook will be provided before the course. Participants must provide and have access to their own licensed copy of ISO 9001:2026 during the workshop. A copy of the standard is not included with registration.
Prerequisites:
Individuals must have previously completed ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training or have equivalent internal-auditing knowledge and experience. This transition workshop is not intended to replace comprehensive internal auditor training for individuals who are new to auditing.
Participants must have access to their own licensed copy of ISO 9001:2026 during the workshop to complete the course activities.

- Review the most meaningful changes introduced in ISO 9001:2026
- Consider the effect of those changes on audit planning, audit trails, interviews, and evidence collection
- Practice identifying and evaluating objective evidence
- Participate in group auditing scenarios
- Identify actions needed to transition their organization’s internal audit activities to ISO 9001:2026
- Receive a Certificate of Completion after meeting the course attendance and participation requirements
