The facility tour and presentation will focus on innovations in the MT Series production line. Doosan Bobcat’s Statesville facility implemented pick-to-light systems and kitting to feed the assembly line, which showcases a commitment to lean manufacturing and operational excellence. The pick-to-light technology guides team members with visual cues, ensuring precise selection of components for each Bobcat machine and significantly reducing errors. By utilizing kitting, where all required parts for an assembly job are pre-organized and delivered to the line, material flow was streamlined, ensuring operators have everything needed at their fingertips. This integrated approach minimizes wasted motion, lowers inventory on the shop floor and accelerates production cycles—reflecting Doosan Bobcat’s dedication to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality equipment to our customers efficiently and reliably.
