NC State Industry Expansion Solutions (IES) has announced a strategic partnership with the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE) to administer the State Excellence Award as part of the North Carolina Awards for Excellence (NCAfE) program. IES has been the administrative home of the NCAfE program since 2001, and partnering with TNCPE will ensure organizations are prepared to compete at the national level.
The State Excellence Award is the top state level recognition presented to an organization that has demonstrated, through its practices and achievements, the highest level of performance excellence. It is the next step for companies that have already achieved previous Baldrige recognition and are interested in seeking additional insight toward improved performance and results.
Among other eligibility requirements, North Carolina organizations that achieve the NCAfE state excellence award may apply for a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
