Bill assists organizations in developing systematic\, long-term Lean implementation and leadership programs. He also trains and develops Lean Six Sigma Green Belts. In 16 years\, relative to his project work with them\, Bill’s clients (through a third-party survey) have reported to NIST over $74M in economic impact and over 500 jobs retained or created. Before joining IES\, Bill worked for Eastman Kodak Company in technical and supervisory roles in manufacturing and research and development. He was also a Lean implementer\, trainer and coach in manufacturing\, utilizing leadership coaching\, Kaizen and other Lean tools. During her 8+ years in the safety and health field\, Kristi has worked with various trades in the construction industry from concrete and steel erection to drywall and landscaping. As a safety director she helped acquire awards for decreasing recordable incidents and days away from work from the National Safety Council and NCDOL\, additionally she headed up the Elite Safety Unit and similar safety committees for several companies. Through her experience and skills\, Kristi helps companies in the construction industry learn how to build recordkeeping processes\, assess hazards\, improve incident investigations\, and grow a safety and health culture that is sustainable and involved at each level across an organization. The safety cultures she fostered have aided companies in winning contracts for projects including: Centene\, Fort Bragg SOF\, Eli Lilly\, Pfizer Rocky Mt & Sanford\, Novo Nordisk\, Nuvotronics\, Galaxy\, Thermo Fisher TFS\, CLT Airport\, Wolfspeed and more. Kristi earned her C-MESH certificate through North Carolina State University. She is also a certified instructor through the National Safety Council for Defensive Driving\, First Aid/CPR/AED\, Lift Trucks\, and more. As an authorized OSHA Outreach trainer for the construction industry\, she also conducts customized safety and health training for IES clients and customers such as Heat Illness and Prevention and Fall Protection. During her 8+ years in the safety and health field\, Kristi has worked with various trades in the construction industry from concrete and steel erection to drywall and landscaping. As a safety director she helped acquire awards for decreasing recordable incidents and days away from work from the National Safety Council and NCDOL\, additionally she headed up the Elite Safety Unit and similar safety committees for several companies. Through her experience and skills\, Kristi helps companies in the construction industry learn how to build recordkeeping processes\, assess hazards\, improve incident investigations\, and grow a safety and health culture that is sustainable and involved at each level across an organization. The safety cultures she fostered have aided companies in winning contracts for projects including: Centene\, Fort Bragg SOF\, Eli Lilly\, Pfizer Rocky Mt & Sanford\, Novo Nordisk\, Nuvotronics\, Galaxy\, Thermo Fisher TFS\, CLT Airport\, Wolfspeed and more. Kristi earned her C-MESH certificate through North Carolina State University. She is also a certified instructor through the National Safety Council for Defensive Driving\, First Aid/CPR/AED\, Lift Trucks\, and more. Outside work\, Kristi expands her horticultural knowledge\, grows her library of board games to enjoy with family and friends\, and is fond of hearing and sharing the latest dad jokes.\n  \nREGISTER TO ATTEND!

She leads a wide spectrum of industrial engineering services and projects. She engages NC State students as part of her project teams in the areas of productivity and quality improvements\, costing\, facilities layout\, process and training documentation\, ergonomics assessments and scheduling\, as well as client-customized projects. She also provides Lean\, statistical process control\, measurement systems analysis and work measurement training in conjunction with Timer Pro (video analysis software) workshops as well as related implementation events. Haleh manages student projects which provide services for clients. With over500+ projects\, involving 2000+ students in the past two decades\, clients have reported strong impacts in flexible duration and diverse engineering disciplines. Haleh has more than 30 years of experience in multiple industries as an industrial/product/quality engineer. She worked at Flextronics in Youngsville as a product engineer. Her prior work history includes being an industrial engineer at the U.S. Postal Service in Los Angeles\, an industrial/quality engineer at General Motors\, an industrial engineer at Monsanto Electronic Materials in St. Louis and an industrial/quality engineer Buehler Products in Cary. Haleh obtained her B.S. in industrial engineering from NC State. She is an ASQ certified quality engineer and is SME bronze Lean certified. She also has extensive training and experience in statistical engineering as well as project management. Haleh is currently the IIE Raleigh Chapter President and Lean Division Board Director at Institute of Industrial Engineers.
