Summertime Joy and Combating Fatigue
It’s been a while since I have uttered the words, “I am bored.” In this fast-paced and multi-tasking society, it seems we operate with little downtime during most of our waking hours. Hence, my joy at planning my summer vacation, as I long for unstructured time with family and friends and perhaps a little boredom.
Fatigue in the workplace is recognized by the National Safety Council as a growing problem. Research estimates that 13% of workplace injuries can be attributed to fatigue, and 43% of Americans admit they may be too tired to function safely at work. Take a look at a few of the resources below and identify methods you and your employees can use to address workplace fatigue.
