Conferences and Summits and Stand Downs (Oh, my!)

Now that we are actively into 2017, I hope you can participate with us in upcoming events and opportunities to improve your environmental health and safety program.

  • Join us at the BEST Conference on February 9, 2017 at NC State McKimmon Center, hosted by the Wake County Local Emergency Planning Committee.  Did I mention that the event is free for attendees?
  • Be sure to learn about our upcoming training opportunities and consider the pursuit of the MESH Certificate program. The NC Summit for Safety Leadership, February 28–March 2, 2017 at the NC Zoo, is a wonderful opportunity to consider. Contact southeasternoti@ncsu.edu if you are interested in a scholarship to attend this event.
  • Mark your calendar now for the annual national Fall Prevention Stand Down, scheduled for May 8–12, 2017.  We will promote resources and activities in our next newsletter.
  • Stay up-to-date with adult training and OSHA outreach techniques with our Trainer Toolbox.

Cheers to a great year together!
