The New Year is off to a fast start! We have lots of information to share with you in this Manufacturing Update issue.

As you may recall, we announced a strategic partnership with the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE) to administer the State Excellence Award as part of the North Carolina Awards for Excellence (NCAfE) program. Partnering with TNCPE will ensure organizations are prepared to compete for Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Related to that, you may want to mark your calendar for their annual summit slated for March 1-2. The event will feature keynotes from Baldrige National Quality Award winners, as well as hands-on workshops and breakout sessions. You can learn more here→

Also, mark your calendars for mfgCON2017, the state’s third annual conference for manufacturing innovation. Plans are still being finalized, but the event is tentatively scheduled for September 19–20 in the Triad area.
